Course topics include: 1. Introduction to Hazardous Materials: Concept – Classifications – Hazards. 2. Material Properties: Reading labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). 3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Selection and use of appropriate PPE. 4. Safe Handling: Lifting, transporting, and unloading techniques. 5. Storage and Transport: Storage standards and separation of reactive materials. 6. Emergencies and Spills: Steps for responding to accidents and using spill kits. 7. Practical Application: Simulation exercises on handling and emergencies.
